The Orphanage is based in Kampala, Uganda. They have been helping their community for the past 11 years by sharing the news of the Kingdom of God and caring for the less fortunate. Their orphanage home began as a mother-son "good Samaritan" act with only 3 unclaimed children. Over time, more and more children came to know. Their organization now cares for over12children!
They have an ongoing need for food, water, and other necessities. Let's be the hands and feet for the children. Let's give justice to the fatherless, caring for them as our own. If you aren't able to give now, please share this fundraiser to your friends and family. And always, pray unceasingly.
BookFunding
This mornings first idea: I have previously ordered "Mr Happy" from the bookshop Bücherecke BeLLeArTi here in Vienna. What if Gunnar orders more books from the UK and gets them delivered directly to the refugee camps in Kenya and Uganda for the kids there. That would avoid some admin and double shipment fees.... It would in effect form an extension bookshop branch with the partner organisations in camp. This would also extend to other Learning Space Libraries in other countries... BookFunding, as a version of CrowdFunding,Bücherecke BeLLeArTi can be collected in Europe and channelled into books for kids. ( as in the Launching of Blue Sky Stuff video of 2009 ! )
